Synopsis
Seven years ago, Lyra was forced by her Alpha father to take the fall for her adopted sister Selene’s hit-and-run, serving the sentence in Silvermoon Penitentiary in her place. Her fated mate Kaelen promised they’d complete their bond once she got out. Now she’s free — and about to find out what seven years did to that promise.
Why it works
The premise does the heavy lifting: a prison sentence taken for someone else’s crime is an unforgivable debt, and the show cashes it in steadily. At 24 episodes it’s the shortest binge on this list — a weekend watch, not a month-long commitment. The revenge beats land in the right order.
Watch out for
Per ReelShort’s own FAQ, this is an AI-generated motion comic — stylized illustrated panels, not filmed scenes. If you come expecting live actors, reset that expectation first. The short length also means side characters get thin treatment.
